How we write

Why these read differently to most vendor blogs

We sell NFC. You should read anything we publish with that in mind — so here is what we hold ourselves to.

We say when not to buyEvery guide names the situations where something cheaper, or nothing at all, is the better answer.
No invented statisticsIf we cannot stand behind a number, we leave it out rather than dress up a guess as research.
Limitations stated plainlyMetal breaks standard tags. Old phones cannot tap. Links can be copied. All of it is in the text.
Updated, not abandonedEach article carries a visible updated date, and we revise them when platform rules or device support change.
Written to be useful aloneYou should be able to act on any of these without ever contacting us.
Corrections welcomeIf we have got something wrong, tell us and we will fix it and say that we did.

Is there something you want us to write about?

If you have a question these guides do not answer, it is probably a question other people have too. Send it over — we will answer you directly, and it may well become the next article.
